This is an excellent story map of the honeymoon route.

Clonmacnoise Cathedral and the Cross of the Scriptures

Merdog publishers have produced this excellent story map of Charlotte and Arthur's honeymoon route following the story in Pauline Clooney's historical novel 'Charlotte and Arthur'. As Pauline says, there are places en route that we can only speculate that they visited... for example did they or did they not go to Clonmacnoise near Banagher? Both Pauline and Michael think they would have gone.

Did they go to Skibbereen, Bandon and Listowel?

In another example, Michael O'Dowd has the honeymooners travelling by train to Athlone from Dublin and then possibly/probably by steamer down the Shannon to Banagher but Pauline says that the timetables would have made made this Athlone rail leg impossible. She has them alighting the train from Dublin at Ballybrophy and a horse and carriage to Cuba Court, Banagher where Arthur's family resided. I love listening to the arguments from both authors!

For all Charlotte was a prolific writer, she didn't leave too many words about her honeymoon trip. Still we can visit these places now to get a feel for the area and to get a sense of place even if there's no real evidence that they actually visited every place we hope to go to!
