More essential reading for the Bronte Honeymoon tour
Two books that are essential reading if you want to find out more about Charlotte Bronte's and Arthur Bell Nicholl's honeymoon are an historical novel penned by Pauline Clooney called 'Charlotte and Arthur' published by Merdog Books and a non-fiction account of the honeymoon by Michael O'Dowd called 'Charlotte Bronte An Irish Odyssey - My Heart is knit to Him - The Honeymoon' published by Pardus Media.
Pauline lives in Kildare and Michael near Galway City. Both authors wrote their books during lockdown and recently spoke at the excellent Bradford Literature Festival alongside Monica Kendall who wrote a book published by SilverWood Books called 'Lies and The Brontes: The Quest for the Jenkins Family ' about the Brontes in Brussels.
